Publisher policy for Newsylink

What this site is

Newsylink is a directory of links to news sources. We do not reproduce articles. Every listing links directly to the publisher's own site. Hovering a listing shows a reduced-resolution, time-stamped preview of that site's public front page, or a short list of current headlines taken from the publisher's own syndication feed. Readers are sent to the publisher to read anything.

We honor robots.txt

Where a publisher's robots.txt disallows automated access, we do not capture that site, and we do not use proxies or other means to work around access restrictions. Several publications are absent from this directory for exactly that reason.

Removal on request

If you are a publisher and want your publication removed from Newsylink, email newsy@newsylink.com. We will remove it within 24 hours of receipt. You do not need to explain why, send a formal notice, or involve counsel.

Requests are received and handled by James Adams.

No admission; reservation of rights

Removal upon request is a voluntary courtesy extended in the interest of publisher relations. It is not an admission of infringement, of the validity of any claim, or of any fact, and it is not a waiver of any right, defense, or remedy, including fair use under 17 U.S.C. §107. Newsylink expressly reserves all rights and remedies available to it at law and in equity, including without limitation the right to seek declaratory relief under 28 U.S.C. §§2201–2202 as to any actual controversy concerning the lawfulness of its operations, the right to recover full costs and reasonable attorney's fees under 17 U.S.C. §505, and the right to pursue any claim arising under 17 U.S.C. §512(f) for knowing material misrepresentation.

Not affiliated

Newsylink is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any publication listed. Publication names and marks are the property of their respective owners and are used solely to identify the source to which each link points.
